​What a phenomenal weekend of bowls at the Wanderers Lawn Bowling Club as they hosted the 3rd Annual Wanderers Open Pairs! The event brought together 12 teams from all over Nova Scotia and New Brunswick to battle it out for the largest prize purse in Nova Scotia lawn bowls!
Congrats to Steve Ogden and Vicki Balcom on winning this year’s championship in a 14-7 Flight final win over Lindsay LeFresne and Luke Guthro. In the A Flight Final, it was Mark Robar and Matt Sebastian who won top honours defeating John Siteman and Carissa Lynch 13-3. In the B Flight final, it was a hard fought victory for Don Murchy and Patti Granville over their clubmates Greg Heatherington and Kevin Stewart.
Thanks to Cameron Lefresne and Mark Singer for organizing the event, John Siteman for doubling as official scorer, the many volunteers who assisted with the meals and helping the players out and to HRM Parks and Recreation for having the green in the best condition of the year- which led to top class bowls all weekend long!

​Congratulations to Ann Marie Siteman, Debby Purdy and Carolyn Reeves who won the 2026 Nova Scotia Women’s Senior Triples Championship today at the Cobequid Lawn Bowls Club. Siteman, Purdy and Reeves won the title in a 2-0 series win over Cobequid’s Kathie Sutherland, Marlene Sears and Beth Amyot. Team Siteman advance on to represent Nova Scotia at the 2026 Canadian Senior Triples Championship to be held August 25-29 at the Windsor Lawn Bowling Club in Ontario.
