Balcom Defends Provincial Women's Singles Title at St. Mary's

​It was an exciting finale to the 2025 Provincial Women’s Singles Championship today at the St. Mary’s Lawn Bowls Club. After a hard fought round robin between 12 women’s bowlers from across our member clubs- it came down to a grand finale in the medal rounds at 3pm today.
Congratulations to Vicki Balcom on winning this year’s championship in a 21-9 win over Mayumi Endo in the final. As well, congratulations to Ann Marie Siteman who won the bronze in a 21-13 win over Nancy Sinclair. Great job everyone! Thanks to everyone who volunteered at St. Mary’s for putting on a great event. Up next on the LBNS Schedule next weekend, we have a double header of action with the Joe Tidd Memorial Open Triples in Bridgetown on Saturday followed by the Annual LBNS Celebration Bowls and Barbeque at Wanderers (if you want to participate- connect with your home club).
