It was a great Saturday of lawn bowls in Bridgetown as a full field of bowlers from across Nova Scotia battled it out for top honours in the 2025 Joe Tidd Memorial Open Triples!
Congratulations to Steve Ogden, Rick Fry and Vicki Balcom of Dartmouth on winning this year’s title in a 17-10 win in the final versus Milledge Sheridan, Charles Stock and Vicki Holland of Bridgetown. In the 3rd Place Game, it was the Bridgetown and Wanderers trio of Tammy Foster-Veinot, Dennis Mullane and Jackie Foster who defeated Peter DeValiant, Ruth Kelly and Julie Medicraft of Bridgetown 16-7.
Thanks to everyone who helped make this year’s event a great success! Up next on the LBNS Tournament Calendar next weekend, we have the final event of the season- the Late Owl Mixed Fours (hosted by Bedford but hosted at Dartmouth).
