The Lawn Bowls Nova Scotia Provincial Rankings system is designed to identify Nova Scotia's top male and female lawn bowler each season.The top athlete in each gender category will receive PSO Athlete Carding from LBNS and Sport Nova Scotia (Tier 6) funding at the end of the season in which the points are accumulated. In order to receive this funding, the top athlete on the rankings must be a member of LBNS and not already receiving Sport Nova Scotia funding at any other tier.

​Qualifying competitions are classified as follows:
(NOTE- Points are awarded for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th place only, and only when there are at least the following number of entries:

• 1st Place- 3 entries (minimum)       
• 2nd Place- 4 entries (minimum)
• 3rd Place- 5 entries (minimum)
• 4th Place- 6 entries (minimum)
