Nova Scotians Successful at US Open In Arizona

11/11/2019

It was an exciting week in Sun City as three of our own (Steve Bezanson, Kelly Moore and John Siteman) competed in the 2019 US Open in Sun City, Arizona. Steve Bezanson (Wanderers LBC) had an especially successful week on the greens, going 15-5 between the three events and taking home the 2nd Flight Men's Pairs title alongside Mike Wagner of Ontario. Kelly Moore (Dartmouth LBC) had a good run in the three events, getting wins in the Singles and Pairs event and coming up against some of the top teams in the tournament in the Women's Fours. John Siteman (Dartmouth LBC) had a great run in the short time he was in the tournament after missing out on the Men's Pairs due to University Convocation, with a 1-2 record in the Singles against a strong international field and making it to the second day of the Men's Fours, skipping a team from all over Canada. Congrats to all on a great week! (Apologies for no photos of Kelly Moore. If I find any, I’ll be sure to update this post).
